This is a quote from Elder Lee Woods, “… I will try and send pictures… and a story if I have time. We only get one hour to write. One story is that one day I was on splits with our zone leader, and I was basically the senior companion for the day. We had an appointment with this one investigator, but she lives far away, and so we were walking in the direction I hoped she lived. On the way, we asked this family who was outside by their fence if they knew where she lived. They said no, but we asked them if they wanted to hear our message. They agreed, and we taught them… Afterwards we invited then to go to Church, and they agreed. But people down here have short memories regarding commitment. But to my surprise, they were at Church the following Sunday. They even came on their own, we didn’t have to get them. It was basically (maybe The Missionary Guy’s word of the day) a miracle. We are continuing to teach them, and I know they will get baptized, if not by us then by another companionship. I know the Spirit guided us to that family, and we eventually found the house of the investigator we originally set out to find. I see miracles of our Heavenly Father every day here… It shows that the Atonement of our Savior makes up for our shortcomings."
